I think I'm still recovering from the massively successful Chaiwalla party last weekend. I must say, it still amazes me to no end how it managed to come together, how He's blessed me down to the last cent, and how everyone made their hearts bigger and raised double what we planned for. Little miracles make a difference.
That said, I am very much in favour of the upcoming long weekend. I think I haven't really had much time to do my own things of late. I stayed up till 4am to finally stop putting off cleaning up the mess in my room, and managed to give it a good tidy-upping, vaccuuming, and cleaning the bathroom. I feel much better now that there's a semblance of order and neatness. That my room is now both cosy and neat (a rather unheard marriage back in my uni days).
So this weekend will be nice. I've got a book in mind, company in hand, and a nice spot of green I'd like to be in. It may be too much to wish for blue skies or warm sun, but as long as I get to breathe some fresh air and run my hand through grass, I'm happy.
It's also interesting how many of our close and distant friends are unexpectedly related. Facebook makes sense that way, and perhaps is still a good tool to come to terms with that. I don't know too much about the whole six degrees of separation thingamajig, but I do think we're alot more related to each other than we realize.
There's correspondence to follow through, asides from the piles of laundry to be done, but it can honestly wait. Right now, I've exhausted my acoustic playlist, so excuse me while I put on some lounge music and tune out.
