Forest green and cherry red lends a certain festive cheer
Cheerful carols that always swing around this time of year
Tinsel lights and Christmas presents tucked under the tree
There's alot of pretty boxes, but none of them for me
I look out the window, into the silent Christmas night
And I could only see myself among the coloured lights
I wish there was more, that perhaps I could find a smile
Somewhere out there in it all, if only for awhile
Tea and sympathy, and a table for two
But I'm here all alone, one person too few
