Since I only need to be at the airport at 2pm tomorrow, I finally have the time to write abit again.
Today has been an eventful day. I was at Northlands Shopping Centre and only managed to scrap one sale. On the way back, we had to sprint to catch the train. 3 stops late, I realized I lost the application and acknowledgement forms. Now, that is major bad news. Because with the application form we basically have all the details of the customer; from the phone number to address to driver's license to work address, etc etc. So if someone was to pick it up, that means he or she can commit credit card fraud easily. And as the person who signed the guy up, basically it means I'm liable for any problems. Which could be really really bad.
I rushed all the way back to the station and spent a good 15 mins hunting for the forms, thinking I'm gonna get killed. The last time round someone from another company lost forms and some people tried to use the details to commit fraud, the company was suspended for a few months, which literally meant thousands lost. I scoured the whole place, looking everywhere. And I finally managed to find the application form. Alone.
So, half dead.
Another 20 mins looking at anything that remotely resembles a paper, and I was about one more search away from giving up, when I meet this guy who was holding a blue piece of paper.
It was THE acknowledgement form.
I can't tell you how relieved I was at that point of time. The form actually blew across the street, and he picked it up, washed his hands, and was about to drop it at a postbox. The whole impossibility of the situation only further says how much of a miracle it was, and how God is so faithful even when I've been a jerk.
After the close shave, I went back to the office to take my stage 1 test, which I passed. So now I've been promoted to Stage 2. Which basically means I earn an extra $10 per sale. Not too shabby I guess.
What a day.
