email address.

While I was doing my CV, I came upon a tricky problem. Under the section where you are supposed to fill in your details, I realized that my email address was ______@gmail.com . Which frankly isn't very impressive or official-sounding, and just isn't gonna cut it as an email address you want to add to your business card when you meet clients.

So I thought, no worries, just create a new account and use your name as the email address. Easy peasy.

Except that 'eddiecheong@gmail.com' is already taken...

Which kinda leaves me in a dilemma. Because 'eddiec@gmail.com' and 'eddie.cheong@gmail.com' and other combinations have already been taken up too. Now I have no idea of what I can use. Because really, no matter how cool you think it is, your email address will probably sound very cheesy when read out loud, and will probably not help you score with girls either.

Secretary: "May I have your email address?"
You: "Uhh...sure..."
Secretary: (pause) "Yes...?"
You: "It's uhh...well...(takes deep breath)It's 'backstreetboysrockmyworld@gmail.com' "
Secretary: (giggles)
