the bends.

I realized with the exception of The Dark Knight Returns graphic novel, I've yet to read a novel in ages. I actually made up a list for myself of books I really want to read:

1) More Twisted - Jeffrey Deaver
2) Lisey's Story - Stephen King
3) Cat O' Nine Tails - Jeffrey Archer
4) Pidgeon - Patrick Suskind

But trouble is most of these books are newish, and I'm still quite reluctant to buy them. Which reminds me that I should hit the 2nd-hand bookshop soon. Which is also probably why the writing well has dried up since last semester.

I've been trying to get intelligent and read Time magazine, but boy those issues come faster than I read them. Then again, I usually only read them a) in the toilet, or b) while travelling on the tram. So usually I'm behind by at least 2 issues.

I've also been hanging out and watching horror movies quite often of late. It's a good thing to finally find a bunch of friends to watch them with. I was quite deprived of them since Suet Beng and Poh Ping left. Anyone with good ones to recommend asides from Shutter?

But I've kinda miss the quiet nights alone as well, with a nice hot cup of tea and a stack of DVDs waiting to be perused. Not that it wasn't fun hanging out. But for now, the fourth season of Blackadder is pretty compelling...
