And England goes into the last 16 of the World Cup with a 2-0 win over Trinidad & Tobago!

Though the Lions were lacking in real creativity and good ol' Lampard missed a couple of chances, they dug deep and managed to pull off 2 decent goals. As the stats say, Crouchy has been in every game that England has won, so it was nice to see him put his head to good use literally. And Captain Fantastic Stevie G., who was working hard in the defense finally got his reward with another trademark scorcher from his left foot. Good possession of the ball, and as usual great defending though Robinson looked susceptible at times. Rooney got a chance to get his start, while Lennon really shone on the right. Was hoping both Jay and my favourite players would score, but this time round it's 1 to Jay then. Well, at least we are on the same team.

At current standings, if Germany wins the next match England will face Ecuador in the 2nd round. However, if the Krauts lose and Ecuador win, then they will face Germany. Either way, every England fan will be thrilled with the 6 points in the bag, without having to worry too much about the Swedes.
